Archive for June, 2014
I have been having so much fun playing with tags these last few days, and when I seen a post using the pocket stencils from Artistcellar that were just so beautiful I had to make some of my own. Click HERE for the post from Artistcellar. I LOVE these stencils, I hope they make some more word stencils
Here is a close-up to see the texture
(I used drywall joint compound it is much cheaper then molding paste)
This weeks colors: Coral & Teal with a Smudge, Splash or Pop of Bright White

I didn’t have either of the main colors so I had to mix my own, so they might not be as true as what they should be.
I decided I’d join in on the fun of Summer of Color 2014.Click HERE to learn more and maybe join in the fun.
…Becomes thinkable in life.
For the first time I actually sat down and created a tag inspired by Tim Holtz 12 tags of the year… NOT that I haven’t been inspired many many times, but it always seemed to get put off for one thing or another…. Well this month I let nothing get in my way, and this evening I created 🙂
The inspiration was found on Tim’s blog HERE
Mine is quite different but still in the same field 🙂
The colors I used are Broken China, Dusty Concord and Mustard Seed. The stencil was a generic daisy
one I purchased at Wal-Mart (sadly none of my TH stencils would work – going to have to remedy that)
